Learning the “lingo” used in American Roulette will help make you familiar with the game and therefore give you a more comfortable level of play. Here is a basic glossary for terms used in American Roulette:
Black: An even-money bet on the ball to land on any black number.
Block bet: A type of bet where you place your chips on the intersection of four different numbers, therefore betting on all four numbers at once.
Column bet: A type of bet in roulette where you are betting on one of the bets within a particular column to win. The payout varies according to which bet won.
Double zero: Bet placed on the green 00 number. It is quite hard to win, but pays 35:1 if you do hit on it.
Dozens bet: Bet where you predict that the ball will fall on one of a dozen numbers in a sequential column- 1 to 12, 13 to 24 or 25 to 36. The odds are 2:1 if you win.
Evens: An even-money bet on the ball to land on any one of the even numbers on the table.
MMOG Currency Revolution

MMOG Currency Revolution
by: Ruibo Chen
MMOG currencies was first introduced from the popular game EverQuest (EQ) with their currency "platinum", also known as "plat". Since the first pioneers of selling plats on Ebay, many have argued and frowned upon those that have ever purchased plats online. I recall many players harassing others with foul names such as "newb" and "ebayer". It has been over 5 years that everyone has been arguing whether the secondary market of trading MMOG money would ever be accepted.
Since the introduction of EverQuest platinum, there were probably more than 70% of players that wouldn’t even consider purchasing plats and discriminated against those who did. As of today, the numbers have been reduced extraordinarily. About 40% of the players now purchase currencies, 30% still disliking the idea and 30% of the other players probably does not care too much and may purchase some them selves in the near future.
Are You Having Trouble Sustaining Energy On The Back Nine?
April 27, 2009
Loss of stamina and endurance toward the end of an eighteen-hole round of golf happens to many golfers and can often be attributed to poor nutrition. To keep up the pace and go the distance, there is no substitute for good nutrition.
Good golf nutrition has many of the same characteristics as good general nutrition. Foods that are low in fat and contain balanced portions of lean protein and slow release carbohydrates make the best choices, and the golfer’s diet should include lots of these. Lean meat, fish, and poultry are all excellent choices and should be staples in a high nutrition diet, as should carbohydrates containing whole wheat sources and green leafy vegetables.
Golfers should avoid starchy foods like potatoes, white breads, corn, and foods high in sugars. These can serve to make you groggy and less able to react properly. They will rob you of stamina rather than enhance it.
Instead of eating a traditional "three meals per day," golfers can benefit from learning to eat several small meals over the course of the day. This process helps to train the body to take in energy in small doses and use that energy more efficiently.

Spiegel Grove, the Largest Florida Keys Shipwreck for Scuba Divers
by: Clint Leung
The latest shipwreck dive site in the Florida Keys for scuba divers is the USS Spiegel Grove. This is a former US Navy Landing Ship Dock that was sunk in 2002 to create an artificial reef in Key Largo, much like the Duane and Bibb ships were in the same general area. The Spiegel Grove is 510 feet in length and 84 feet wide making it the largest of the shipwrecks accessible to scuba divers in the Florida Keys. This wreck sits at a depth of 134 feet near Dixie Shoals and the depth at the highest point of the ship is about 60 to 65 feet depending on the tide level.
The Spiegel Grove had been lying on her starboard side after initial sinking and was reported to be a great dive. Hurricane Denis which greatly affected the south Florida area, actually made this wreck dive even better. The waves and surges from the hurricane were strong enough to push the entire ship to an upright position much like how the Duane is sitting. This resulted in better orientation of the ship for scuba divers especially since there are some swim throughs located throughout the wreck.
What Does Annika Know About Exercise That You Don?t?
April 24, 2009
Think of your golf game. Visualize connecting with your drive and sinking your putt. Now think of exercise and how it relates to your golf game. Do you do a total body workout several times per week? Do you have a tailored fitness regimen that pays special attention to certain muscle groups? Do you even exercise at all?
Annika Sorenstam has an exercise plan which is adding value to her game as she rules the LPGA tour. There are three key elements to her exercise program that have produced successful results. Can you guess the three elements? They are commitment, discipline, and dedication.
Commitment: It is crucial to commit yourself to an exercise program. Committing yourself to an exercise program demonstrates that you believe the program will be beneficial. It is also a good idea to be accountable. Write your commitment and set of goals in a workout journal or notepad. Make the commitment a reality by following a specific course of action towards your intended goals for best results.

The thoughts that don’t usually jump to the front of our seaside memories are those of the sun burns. This is because we tend to remember the best of times more than the worst of times. No matter how well Mom lathered on the sunscreen, there were always spots missed, and boy, weren’t they visible at the end of the day! The advent of the rash guard shirt has come to the rescue of modern Moms and Dads to prevent these painful experiences.
